ndianapolis (TSN) - George Hill registered his first career triple-double with 15 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds as the Indiana Pacers posted a 95-85 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.

Paul George donated 28 points and six rebounds while Roy Hibbert added 19 points and 14 rebounds for the Pacers, who have won their past two games and four of six overall.

Evan Turner had 22 points and 10 rebounds while Spencer Hawes gave 18 points for the Sixers, who have lost five of their last seven games. Thaddeus Young gave 12 points and seven rebounds in the loss.

Philadelphia played the game without guard Jrue Holiday, the team’s leading scorer at 18.4 points per game, with a sprained left foot.

Philly held a two-point lead to start the second half, but that quickly evaporated as the Pacers used an 8-0 run, capped on a Hill layup, that gave the team a 50-46 lead with nine minutes to play.

Indiana stayed in front from there and held a 10-point advantage after George hit a shot for a 63-53 game with just under four minutes to play.

The Sixers, though, kept it close and a 3-pointer from Turner near the end of the frame made it a 71-66 game going into the final quarter.

Philly kept it close through the final frame, but couldn’t get closer than three points as Indiana always had an answer.

With three minutes to play, Hawes made a jumper that cut Philly’s deficit to 86-83, but George answered with a 3-pointer. After Turner hit two free throws, Hibbert slammed home a block and, after George blocked a layup from Turner, Hill put the game away on a 3-pointer with 36.2 seconds left.

A 6-0 run by the Sixers in the first quarter, highlighted on a 3-ball from Jason Richardson, gave the team a 14-10 lead, but the Pacers ended the frame with an 8-2 run to take a 25-20 lead after 12 minutes.

Indiana had built its lead to nine points, 31-22, after George hit a jumper with 9 1/2 minutes to play in the half.

Philadelphia had chipped away at the lead and briefly held the advantage, but seven straight points from the Pacers saw the team gain a 40-34 advantage off a David West layup with 2 1/2 minutes left.

It was a 42-38 Indiana lead after a West jumper, but Damien Wilkins was fouled with 3.8 seconds to play and hit both his shots. A bad pass from West was picked off by Young, who dished to Turner for an easy layup to tie the game with one second showing.

A long pass by West went out of bounds and the Sixers had one last chance at the other end, with Hawes making a bucket as time expired to give the team a 44-42 advantage going into the break.

Notes: Philadelphia hosts the Lakers on Sunday … Indiana plays in Detroit on Saturday … Theses teams split the four-game series each of the past two seasons … Philadelphia was also without guard Royal Ivey as he has a strained right groin … Indiana guard Lance Stephenson sat out the game with a right ankle injury … The Pacers shot 45.5 percent and grabbed 48 rebounds, while the Sixers hit just 43.2 percent of their shots and pulled down 36 rebounds.
